Holistic Design of Intelligent Materials, Devices and Integrated Systems

Howdy! Welcome to Lin Research Group at Texas A&M University!

We are a multi-disciplinary team at the intersection of materials science, electrical engineering, and applied physics. We develop holistic design approaches across multiple physics domains and beyond the hierarchy of materials, devices, and systems for future computers and intelligent sensors. Our research interests include nano-/quantum material synthesis and characterization, advanced electronic and optoelectronic devices, and integrated multi-functional computing and sensing microsystems. We study fundamental properties of emerging nanomaterials (e.g., 2D materials, organic functional molecules, transition-metal oxides, and nanocomposites), and employ out-of-box strategies to advance their applications in electronics, optoelectronics, non-conventional computing, machine intelligence, and biochemical sensing.
